I tend to fall in love with my subjects. Frankly, this is my greatest strength, and the greatest benefit to you. Your business, your projects, your passions are the stuff that makes you go. Having a creative and enthusiastic advocate for a writer and photographer will make all the difference in your results.
One of my favorite projects is the Tired Teddy Bear Toss, jointly sponsored by Stanley Steemer of Syracuse and the Syracuse Crunch Hockey Club, an event that gives thousands of teddy bears and stuffed animals of every description to theSalvation Army who, in turn, distribute them to needy families in Central New York. Here is one of many press releases I wrote for Stanley Steemer in advance of that event. Tired Teddy Bear Toss
Restaurants and venues that treat me well get good reviews. Ones that don't - well, I don't publish their reviews. Like Thumper's father said, "If ya can't say somethin' nice, don't say nothin' at all." If I do not get good service, I contact the owners and let them know why. Those who I contact almost always respone positively, immediately. Praise in public, criticize in private.
Here's a review of a place that treated me extraordinarily well, Black Willow Winery.
Ok, another review - not of a classy restaurant, but someplace a family can go and have a good time. Bob's Barbecue
Check out the new brochure I just created for PPSNYS - The Professional Photographers Society of New York State.
More coming - the website is new yet, and I'm working at getting everything on board. Please bear with me.
